Today we are going to talk about the Woods FZ-Series Mow’n Machine.
The Woods FZ – Series frount mount mowers of coarse have there decks in front of the tractor and operator. With the long wheel base Wood’s believes this distributes weight more evenly, improving ride comfort. I strongly agree with this point as the front deck Zero – Turn mowers I rode where more comfortable than mid mount Zero – Turn mowers. These new mowers are built heavy meeting the commercial mower standards

There are four models to pick from, FE21B, FZ23B, FZ28K and the FC25d.

All mowers come with the Power Tilt System on the decks making it possible to tilt the deck up 60 degrees making it easy to clean and service. This same system is used to set cutting height and it’s done by just pushing a button. The thing I see wrong with this system is you have to get off the mower to adjust the cutting height and you have to be careful and not get you hand caught between the deck and tire when tilting deck up.


You can order these mowers with 3 pulling tire configurations, Bar Type Ag Tires, Knobby Tires and Turf Tires.

Remember, with front deck mowers you can get numerous attachment options available, so your mower can handle other tasks rather than simply cutting grass.  In snow areas, the snow thrower attachment extends the use of the tractor through the winter months, to allow you to keep your sidewalks and driveway clear.  A winter enclosure, or cab, helps keep you out of the elements and more comfortable.  For lighter snow removal or for scraping drives and other areas, a scraper blade is available.  And a power broom can help keep drives, walks, and parking lots clean year ’round.
